Who am I?

I’m a former special education teacher with a master’s degree in Special Education from NYU and over 12 years of experience teaching in special needs classrooms. For the past 10 years, I’ve also been homeschooling and unschooling my own neurodivergent children, giving me both professional expertise and real-life experience navigating the unique challenges and joys of special needs homeschooling.

When I began homeschooling in 2014, I quickly realized how many families were searching for support, guidance, and reassurance while trying to create an education that truly fit their child. I started sharing our journey on YouTube, where I spent six years creating content, reviewing curriculum, and encouraging homeschooling families raising neurodivergent kids. Over time, that passion grew into a more personal mission and eventually led me to start my own business.

Today, I provide Virginia homeschool evaluations, special needs homeschool consultations, PDA parent coaching, and neurodivergent-friendly tutoring. My goal is to help families feel confident creating flexible, individualized learning environments that honor their child’s needs, strengths, and personality.

I believe there is no one “right” way to homeschool a neurodivergent child. Every child learns differently, and every family deserves support without judgment.

When I’m not working with families, you can usually find me hiking, exploring nature, or binge-watching Netflix shows.
